This policy explains how Cocoony, the operator of cocoony-hair.com, processes information through its internal application Cocoony ads (Meta App ID: 4594389644218132). Contact: kontakt@cocoony-hair.com.
1. Purpose and scope
Cocoony ads is an internal business tool used by Cocoony and its authorized operators to prepare, create, publish, manage and review Cocoony’s own advertising on Facebook and Instagram. It is not a public service for connecting unrelated businesses or consumer accounts. This policy covers the application and its advertising workflows. Shopping and browsing on our store are covered separately by our store privacy policy.
2. Information processed
Depending on the authorized operation and permissions granted by Meta, the application processes:
- Identifiers, names and configuration information for authorized business assets, advertising accounts, Facebook Pages and connected Instagram identities.
- Campaign, ad set and advertisement information, including copy, images, videos, destination links, delivery settings and publication status.
- Advertising reports and performance metrics, including spend, impressions, clicks and attributed results provided by Meta.
- Authentication credentials and technical information necessary to authenticate API requests, diagnose errors and operate the integration.
- Contact details and information supplied when an authorized user contacts us about access or deletion.
3. How information is used
Information is used to operate the authorized advertising workflows, identify the correct business assets, publish or update advertisements, assess campaign performance, maintain the integration and respond to requests. Personal information is processed for the legitimate business purpose of managing Cocoony’s advertising and securing its tools, subject to applicable law and the permissions granted through Meta.
4. Access and service providers
Information may be accessed by Cocoony’s authorized operators and the service providers used to perform these tasks. These include Meta for advertising and API services, and OpenAI tools, including Codex, when an operator uses AI assistance to prepare content, analyze selected information or execute an authorized workflow. Relevant information may also be processed by the storage and hosting services used for those workflows. Shopify hosts this public policy page; its handling of visits to the store is described in the store privacy policy.
These services may process information in countries other than the operator’s country. Their applicable privacy terms govern their own processing. This notice does not grant access beyond the permissions and instructions given by Cocoony.
5. Retention
Advertising records, reports and operational files are retained for as long as needed to manage and review campaigns, maintain the integration or meet applicable recordkeeping obligations. Retention depends on the record and its purpose. Information that is no longer needed should be deleted or anonymized. Requests to remove application-held information are handled as described below; revoking an integration alone does not erase existing exports, reports or Meta-hosted advertisements.
6. Data deletion and privacy requests
To request access, correction or deletion of information held through Cocoony ads, email kontakt@cocoony-hair.com with the subject “Cocoony ads — Data deletion”.
- Identify your relationship to Cocoony and the relevant account, Page or business asset, and describe the information concerned.
- Do not send passwords, API access tokens or other authentication secrets.
- We may request information needed to verify your identity and authority over the requested data.
- We will review the request, remove information that can be deleted, and explain any applicable legal retention requirement or information controlled independently by Meta or another provider.
Requests are handled within the time limits applicable to the request. Authorized administrators can also revoke the application’s access through their Meta business settings. Deletion of records held by this application is separate from deleting advertisements, campaigns or information held directly by Meta. Depending on your location, you may also have rights to object to processing, request restriction or portability, or complain to a data protection authority.
