Start dry. Choose your heat.
Detangle your dry hair. Turn on the brush and start with the lowest suitable heat setting, following the included guide.
Take a small section. Glide slowly.
Guide the brush through one section, following the shape you want. Keep it moving, then repeat where needed.
Let it cool. Finish with your fingers.
Allow the section to cool, then gently arrange it. Work around the sides and back using a mirror.

Your hair needs enough length for the pins to catch a section. A closely cropped nape may be too short. If you are unsure, send our team a photo of your cut before ordering.
What if my hair is fine or gray?
Start with the lowest heat setting and follow the user guide for your hair. Keep the brush moving and avoid repeated passes over the same section. Fine or fragile hair needs particular care.
How do I style the back of my head?
Use a second mirror so you can see the section you are working on. Take small sections and guide the brush slowly, keeping it moving. The cordless design lets you change your position without working around a cable.
Can I add shape without flattening my whole haircut?
Work only on the sections you want to reshape. Follow the curve of your style as you glide, then let each section cool before arranging it with your fingers.
Can I use it for touch-ups between washes?
Use it on dry, detangled hair to reshape the sections that need attention. Follow your user guide and choose an appropriate heat setting rather than repeatedly passing over the same area.

To be honest, I was skeptical that a brush like this could really work. Most styling tools are either too large or can't reach shorter sections of hair. The Cocoony Brush is truly different. The compact brush head makes it easy to reach even the back of your head and your temples. I no longer need 10 minutes every morning—2 or 3 is enough. For short hair, it's truly a game changer, and you can see the difference right away.
